Workshop Description

Somatic Integration can be highly effective in relieving chronic pain, improving bodily function, and recovering from common musculoskeletal conditions. Somatic Integration is designed to bring structural awareness, mobility and integrity, to your system. What to expect? Somatic Integration is a combination gentle exercises and touch therapy. The human nervous system, which controls our posture and movement, must learn new things slowly. Touch helps us rediscover parts of us that we lost connection with, and thus find better coordination, ease and safety. Why work one on one? Often we are not even conscious of our own patterns that reinforce less then optimal movement patterns, and having the outside practitioner, guiding and supporting your process can be most beneficial. Each session is individually tailored for your needs, abilities and goals. Getting you out of pain is a priority and then learning together exercises which will support your posture to help maintain wellbeing. Somatic Integration is practiced on the floor. You are clothed ideally in loose, warm clothing. If this is your first session, please book an Initial Consult Session
